National women’s doubles coach Rosman Razak has declared that Pearly Tan-M. Thinaah will deliver the points to help Malaysia reach the Sudirman Cup quarter-finals in Xiamen, China, on April 27-May 4.
Malaysia, who are in a tough Group C with joint third seeds Japan, emerging European powerhouses France and Australia, must finish among the top two to reach the next round.
Japan will be hard to overcome as they have a balanced squad with top class performers.
Pearly-Thinaah will have a tough battle against newly crowned All England champions Nami Matsuyama-Chiharu Shida, who have a runaway 12-1 head-to-head record against the Malaysians.
